Steps:

  1. First, I glued fabric and some pearl trim around the spool. You could use paper or paint the spool if desired.
  2. Glueing fabric on a wooden spool.

  3. Next, using wire folded in half, I threaded the wire through the top of the tassel. Using the jewelry pliers, I twisted the two pieces of wire together two or three times and then inserted both pieces of wire through my beads and then through the spool. Then, I added one more bead at the top of the spool and secured with some hot glue. Using jewelry pliers, add a jewelry eyelet to the end of the wire and then connect the ceiling fan chain to the eyelet.

  5. Cut off excess wire.

  7. Now I have a cute little fan pull I made for my granddaughter's room, so she can reach it to turn her fan off and on.
