Storing a Toilet Brush

This tip was at the end of a video on how to clean the toilet in 3 minutes. Being that I use the brush to clean the toilet bowl most every day, which takes only a few seconds, I found this part to be very helpful and it will make the toilet brush last much longer.

After you finish, just stick the brush under the seat to hold it in place while the water drips off and the brush dries. Solves the problem of water and gunk collecting in your brush holder.

This is a good idea for recycling your laundry detergent containers, Clorox or gallon milk containers. These work really well for holding your toilet bowel brush.

Make your bathroom elegant on a dime! I have no storage in the bathroom under the sink for the toilet brush. I purchased a large glass vase at the thrift store and put my brush in it.

I hate those toilet cleaning brushes and their containers, but they are so needed. I had a moment of inspiration - I put liquid hand soap in the brush holder.

I hang the toilet brush on the back of the tank using a piece of string and a paper clip. To do this, get a piece of string and make a loop for the toilet brush handle.

Mine had a hole through the end, which made it easy.

Toilet brushes can get very stinky and mold-infested. To avoid this, flush the toilet after cleaning it and dunk the brush up and down to rinse it.

Dunk again when the water refills, then put the handle of the brush under the seat with the brush over the bowl.

I use a toilet brush that has a holder that will hold water. I put a small amount of concentrated bathroom cleaning solution in it and fill it with "hot" water.

I have a large pickle jar in which I keep my toilet brush, which I use to clean the toilet with. In the pickle jar is enough laundry detergent to cover the bristles of the brush.

I hate to see my toilet brush and plunger sitting there when you go into our bathroom. Any ideas how to hide them or make them look better?

Thanks. I love all the useful ideas I get in this site.

Assuming you only see the side of your toilet when you walk into your bathroom attach one of those Command hooks on the far side of your tank. The brush will only be visible when standing in front of the bowl.

Not only does this make that tool invisible it is able to air dry after using. For the plunger I can only suggest hiding it in the linen closet.

I bought a brush in its own holder and turn it backwards behind the toilet. All you see is the handle and holder.
