Freeze Canned Biscuits

I found out just today that you can freeze the biscuits-in-a-can! Find a sale, stock up, and throw them in the freezer. You can either let the can thaw out, pop it open and then bake the biscuits or (frozen cans will NOT pop) pry the frozen biscuits out of the can and bake them. I've done it both ways. The frozen biscuits are harder to pry apart and don't look as pretty as the thawed ones, but sometimes you just can't wait for a hot biscuit.

I have been buying and freezing biscuits for years
Just pop open and separate on a plate and freeze til rock hard and put in s baggie so each time you want one take it out if freezer and microwave on high . I turn it at about 39 seconds and do it again til ready. It doesnt create a crust but it created soft warm bread ! Yummy

On the can in big letters it says: DO NOT FREEZE. Guess if it works for you, ok then!

Don't try it. I did and they sucked. They didn't rise either.

I've done it for years, you should let them COMPLETELY thaw or the extra moisture in the biscuits will effect them rising and give them a flat unsatisfying taste. Just got to do it right n be patient.

Place on a greased or sprayed baking pan freeze then put in a ziplock bag or container when ready to use place in pan thaw completely and bake

Did you also know that you can freeze eggs? When eggs are on sale for 99cents a dozen I stock up! I beat the eggs I buy then I freeze them in Ice cube trays (covered with plastic wrap) each cube represents one egg, just thaw the night before in fridge.

I also freeze milk, egg nog and chocolate milk when on sale as well.

Yes I just found out it's true. I froze a can of Pillsbury Grands then put it the fridge the next day to thaw. Then I baked them in electric toaster. They turned out perfect!

I started freezing them...hated baking 8 for one then they get hard. Freeze yeast bread, and loaves of bread too.
